Imagine an intimate garden wedding surrounded by beautiful almond trees, captivating greenery, sparkling lights. As a Las Vegas Wedding Photographer I am capturing moments all around Las Vegas and destinations, more and more falling in LOVE taking pictures at The Grove. If you don’t mind heading off Strip this can be a perfect location to say I do.
Jacquelin and the girls were getting ready at the JW Marriott Hotel, where we captured the finishing touches on their hair and make up and some fun photos before headed to The Grove for the ceremony and reception.
The ceremony was held at the Almond Orchard at The Grove.
The girls were wearing colorful dresses and the guys were wearing matching ties.
After the ceremony we captured some nice, classy wedding photos, however the couple wanted to have a bunch of silly and fun photos.
All the grooms men had superhero shirts on under their suits and we took a photo with them busting out, than Jacquelin opened Emil’s shirt for him.
Than Jacquelin was doing the Darth Vader choke on the guys
So many moments were captured from the first dance to father – daughter dance, mother-son dance, toasts, garter and bouquet toss and a special grand exit where the guests were throwing lavender to the couple. During the garter toss they had random knick-knacks under Jacquelin’s dress to toss out.
Jacquelin and the bridal party definitely love to have fun and and looked like they all had a blast as they partied into the warm Las Vegas night.
Mollie & Douglas picked the beautiful Reflection Bay golf course for their wedding. They couldn’t pick a more perfect location for their celebration of their LOVE.
Palm trees all around, sandy beach and pristine golf course set a a beautiful stage for their outdoor weddings at Reflection Bay Golf Club. Wind was blowing in their special day, but during the ceremony it seemed that the weather just wanted to cooperate and become calm, so we can have a beautiful outdoor ceremony by the lake.
Mollie & Douglas included a couple of Scottish traditions to their Nautical themed wedding, like roping their hands during the ceremony, the loving cup ceremony and they also had two cakes; a traditional wedding cake by Las Vegas costume cakes an a Scottish wedding fruitcake with marzipan, prepared by Douglas’s aunt.
During the loving cup ceremony the bride and the groom was taking a sip in the same time from a beautiful cup. The use of the quaich or traditional Scottish two handled drinking cup (Loving Cup) at a wedding is an ancient tradition.
Drinking from the same cup is a beautiful symbol of the love and trust between the couple. Because it is traditionally ‘the cup of welcome’, drinking from it can also be seen as a way of welcoming the bride and groom into each others’ family.
Their first dance was very special as well, starting out as a regular slow dance, than a couple of minutes later became a fun dance. The beautiful lighthouse centerpieces set the mood for a great party, where the dance floor was full, thanks to Harry from Harry O Productions.
Brae Jorgensen, Event Director from Reflection Bay Golf Course made sure that everything is happening smoothly during Mollie & Douglas’s wedding.
Kirsten & Kyle wanted casual images and wanted to party, have lots of fun.
We started at the Monte Carlo Hotel where the girls were getting ready with some fun images, than we took more images with the whole wedding party around the Monte Carlo Hotel before we headed to the Hard Rock Cafe.
Third Floor Patio of the Hard Rock Cafe was an awesome location for their ceremony with panoramic views of the Las Vegas Strip.
After the ceremony it was time to get the party started and dance through the night.
Thank you Regina Galiyeva from Vegas Weddings Planner and Christy Rasmussen from Hard Rock Cafe organizing their wedding and making sure that everything went smoothly.
Marzena & Erite has been together for 10 years. They decided to have a weekend trip from England to Las Vegas and get married at the Lucky Little wedding chapel, than go for a photo tour starting at the Venetian Resort, where the couple were staying, go to a desert shoot at Dry lake bed with their red mustang, Nelson ghost town, than back to the Strip to capture the images with the neon lights.
